Where the numbers on these pages come from
Not a single figure here is invented. Below is the source and the maths behind each one.
Exchange rate
The rate on the pair pages is RubyCash's own rate from the exchange's rate export, refreshed every 5 minutes. It is the rate at which an order is created, and the amount you receive is fixed in the order.
Minimum and maximum
The minimum is set by the exchange for each direction. The maximum shown is a conditional limit of about $10,000,000, converted to the currency you send; for larger amounts contact support. Reserves are not published.
Market data
Prices, market capitalization, trading volume and 7-day charts come from CoinGecko and are refreshed every 30 minutes. The market rate of a pair is the ratio of the two coins' USD prices, so it can differ from the exchange rate.
Volatility and correlation
Volatility is the difference between the highest and the lowest value over 7, 30 or 90 days, divided by the lowest. Correlation is the Pearson coefficient of the daily price changes of two coins over the last 90 days: close to 1 — they move together, close to 0 — independently.
Official rates
Card cash-out pages show the official rate of the central bank of the currency (the National Bank of Ukraine, the ECB and others), updated daily from their public data. It is a reference: the cash-out rate is based on the market price of the coin.
Rate history
RubyCash records its own rate for every direction every hour; pair pages show the last value of each day next to the market rate.
Descriptions of coins and networks
Coin and network descriptions are prepared by RubyCash from public project documentation and are reviewed when networks change.
What this data is not
Market data and charts are for information only and are not investment advice. Past rate changes do not predict future ones.
